Changing thermostat on 2004 kia optima?

i have a 2004 optima(4cyl) and i believe the thermostat is stuck closed cause its been overheating at idle so i let it get hot and i checked both radiator hoses and one was burning hot and the bottom one was cool enough for me to put my hand on it. so i was wondering if anyone could help me out and tell me where its located on my kia? thanks so much

Thermostats are usually situated at top hoses ends engine side.

Rarely at bottom hose end engine side.
