2001 Saturn SC1 Radiator Drain Plug?

Water is shooting out when started. Changed the hose and it still is happening. Could the drain bolt be missing? If so is located right by the hose down under? I really need to get this fixed and I don't wan to pay the price at the shop.

How about telling us where the water is shooting out from? Your drain plug is located on the bottom of your radiator. Start the car up and see where it is coming from.

If the drain plug is missing it won't take long for yoru fluid to completely exit the system. I doubt your drain plug is missing. You need to find the source of where your fluid is shooting out. You need to open the hood and try and locate the source, but take great care as that fluid will be very hot.
I bought a Chilton book for an Ion, not the same, but the radiator drain plug for mine is, when looking up from under the car, hidden behind some of the frame, but from the top, looking down under the hood, isn't hard to see as it is to reach (skinny arms helpful), and isn't very big, so it took a good look. I Hope you didn't lose it, if it's like mine, it won't be fun to replace.
it sounds more like the radiator has a hole in it. if and when you find the hole then use some jb weld on the hole, let it sit for about a hour or 2 before filling it back up.
